“Mountain Research, LLC (Mountain Research), founded in 1985, is a full-service turn-key environmental and laboratory services corporation. Since 2005 Mountain Research has been 100% employee owned.

In 1992, we opened our 20,000 square foot laboratory and corporate office complex in Altoona, Pennsylvania.  By 1999 we had acquired a laboratory in Dubois, Pennsylvania and as of January 2017 Hydrochem Laboratories in Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia became a division of Mountain Research.

Our three sites have expanded our services and trained personnel.  We own three drilling rigs for environmental and geotechnical drilling. Our staff of professionally registered geologists, engineers, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, licensed remediation specialists, certified Underground Storage Tank (UST) / Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) personnel, field staff and administrative support staff provide superior, quality, environmental services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
